Arkansas Otolaryngology Ambulatory Surgery Center

Our surgery center opened in 1975 and was the first free standing surgery center in Arkansas. In 1983 our surgery center was the first surgery center in Arkansas to obtain accreditation by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

Accreditation by JCAHO is considered the gold standard in health care quality. Only a small percentage of ambulatory surgery centers have elected to go through this kind of voluntary evaluation of their organizations against nationally accepted standards that effect quality, safety and patient care. We are one of only a few surgery centers in the United States that have had JCAHO accreditation for more than 25 years. Our physicians and nurses are dedicated and committed to providing quality ENT surgical and nursing care. We have maintained this goal for over 33 years and performed surgery on more than 62,000 patients.
